Breast Augmentation

Blepharoplasty can involve both the upper and lower eyelids. The goal of the surgery is to reduce the bulk of tissue in the eyelid.

A more youthful appearance and improvement in vision is expected from the procedure. The upper eyelid blepharoplasty includes removal of skin and fatty tissue. It is possible that insurance may cover the upper eyelids if vision is obstructed. The lower eyelid surgery involves removal of fatty tissue and often skin is removed to tighten the lids.

Recovery from this surgery depends on reduction of bruising and swelling. Normal activity can be resumed in 2-3 days. Bruising and swelling lasts about two weeks. This procedure is done as an outpatient procedure, and does not require hospitalization.
